Why Play Our Game?

This game was started for a number of reasons. One of which was that we didn't know that every newspaper under the sun was going to launch their own predictions game so we thought it would be a clever, novel, fun idea. We might not have the resources of a national paper, but we still consider it good fun and it will be alot more friendly and personal than a game with thousands and thousands of players.

Rules

The rules of this game are very, very simple. Every week, you make a prediction for every English Premier League fixture taking place in that week. If you predict the correct result, you receive 2 points. If you also predict the correct score, you will receive a bonus point. Every week, there will be a featured fixture. If you manage to predict the correct score in the featured fixture, you will receive 5 points.

In addition to the weekly points, there are also the season predictions. Each one of these is worth 10 points so if you get these right at the end of the season they could make the difference between winning and mid-table mediocrity!!

To Summarise:

• 2 points for predicting the correct result (win for either team or draw)
• 2 points for predicting the correct score
• 5 points for the correct score in the featured fixture of the week
• 10 points for a correct season prediction at the end of the season
